Lasting social change rarely happens in isolation. Marina Shaikh believes in the power of collaboration — bringing together organisations, institutions, philanthropists, community leaders and individuals around shared humanitarian objectives.
Through The Rising World Foundation, collaborative initiatives have supported communities with resources connected to education, livelihoods, health, mobility and everyday wellbeing.
A recent collaborative initiative involved the distribution of sewing machines, water coolers, air coolers, computers, bicycles, reusable sanitary pads, school bags, water bottles, helmets and fans to communities in need.
